Having a craft beer, more so, in a brewery near I live, is a convenient way to have fun having this beverage. I do know, though, that getting into this hobby may be unsafe-lead to alcoholism-in the absence of self-regulation and self-control. A craft beer brewery encourages beer lovers to enjoy the drinks they offer keeping in mind emitting only positive impacts. As a piece of advice to other craft beer lovers, below are the tips I can give that’ll help other beer lovers, like me, maintain sobriety while enjoying their favorite craft beer. These tips have worked for me, when I applied them to my own self. Who knows, it can work for just about anyone who loves craft beer, too.
Tip #1: Monitor the frequency I drink

It’s easier to self-monitor the amount of alcohol I drink if I monitor the frequency, I take an alcoholic beverage. A craft beer brewery may be available for customers’ patronage every evening, seven days a week. But, it doesn’t mean I will have a craft beer there, or anywhere else for that matter, every day! For better self-tracking and regulation, I usually have a craft beer diary. In my diary, I write the amount of craft beer I consume in a day, and which days I have consumed this alcoholic drink. Every end of the week, I review the entries in my diary. Such a review enhances my ability to keep myself on track on my alcohol consumption, and, thus, prevents me from turning into an alcoholic.
Tip # 2: I monitor the frequency I become drunk for fun
I do get drunk, at times, but, doing so is only for the sole purpose of having fun. To this end, having fun means I don’t cross the line by only getting drunk occasionally, and not on a regular or frequent basis. I don’t let the other people who get drunk at a craft beer brewery often influence my habit of alcohol (i.e. craft beer) consumption. I am a rational individual, who values my health and well-being.
Tip #3: I make sure my brain stays sharp
One of the tell-tale signs of excessive alcohol consumption is frequent loss of consciousness and memory after having consumed a substantial amount of alcohol. Having a craft beer near me is not an excuse for me to get to this level whenever I enjoy such a beverage.
Tip #4: I don’t act aggressively after having enjoyed a craft beer
One of the symptoms associated with alcoholism and harmful alcohol consumption is violent or aggressive behavior. Having a craft beer in Cronulla doesn’t make me act violently, as long as I self-regulate the occurrence of instances, I let myself get drunk, for fun, of course!
